Cooper is a sophomore at the University of Alabama. Hailing from Starkville, Mississippi, he has grown up with a volunteer spirit, having participated in volunteer activities since he was old enough to help. He was named a state finalist in the Prudential spirit of Community Awards Program and received a Volunteer Service Award from the President and Senate Resolution by the MS Senate.
He participated in the National Hamilton Leaders Academy during the summer of 2009 and had to decline membership in the State farm Southern Zone Advisory Board because of this meeting conflict.
During his internship experience at the NYHS he worked in the Development Department doing basic office work in addition to doing extensive work on the NYHS Website. He is the type of person that when he sees something he likes, he goes for it regardless of the obstacles that stand in his way.
